In 2014, phase one of a multi-phase development effort successfully established a dairy operation at the Mully Children’s Family Ndalani campus. Due to the migration of nomadic tribes and their cows from Somalia, an outbreak of East Coast Fever occurred and has forced an evaluation of the dairy project before future development phases can commence. Dairy experts have recommended the renovation of the existing facilities to improve the existing infrastructure and processes at the dairy operation before expanding the milk production capacity.
