Unwanted teen pregnancy is a serious problem across Kenya, due to sex trafficking and prostitution. This is especially prevalent in the coastal region of Malindi and why MCF chose to locate the new Girls’ Rescue Center there. Young teens, many already moms, are rescued from the street and will have the opportunity to regain their lives and to learn a trade which will enable them to provide for themselves and their babies.
