Although we find ourselves living in unsettling times, one truth remains certain. “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16 ESV) We can experience the gift of God’s endless love.
More than 2000 years ago, “And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy, that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:8-11 ESV)
Just like that first Christmas when the angel brought this message of hope and love to the shepherds, we are reminded that many of our MCF children did not have hope or love prior to their rescue by MCF.
Christmas around the world has served as a special time for expressing love and hope to one another. Will you celebrate Christmas with MCF and share your love and generosity?
