National Exams are conducted twice, following grade 8 and after grade 12. The results determine the child’s ability to move forward in school. When the Ministry of Education mandated that all students and teachers have a computer or digital notepad, the Government also introduced a completely new school curriculum which necessitates the purchase of new textbooks.
