COURAGE OF BEING A TEENAGE MOTHER

The youngest mother whom we have recorded in our history as a family is a 12-year-old girl. Over the years we have rescued young teenage mothers from the most unbelievable circumstances. Many upon rescue had so much bitterness and anger towards the men who impregnated then, of whom many are survivors of rape.

In MCF we train them to love themselves, love their babies and to forgive those people who are responsible for them being called mothers at a tender age. Above all we have learned that the word of God and the receiving of salvation is what really gave them a new life. A life full of hope, peace, forgiveness, and love for not only themselves and their children, but for God.

We join together in prayer for those teenage girls who have courageously put on, and bravely borne the status of being a teenage mother. We ask God to continue to mold them to his purpose upon their lives.

1 Samuel 2:8 (NLT)
He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lord’s, and he has set the world in order.
