A Week of Radical Love in Kenya’s Streets
Each year around Christmas, Mully Children’s Family in Kenya leads by example, finding meaningful ways to love like Jesus and serve the communities they call home. As part of this annual outreach, children and staff spend time feeding neighbors, visiting prisons with the choir, caring for the indigent, and tending to shared spaces in the towns around them. This year, in the week before Christmas, that service included sweeping streets, picking up litter, and caring for public spaces.
The annual Christmas outreach is more than a community service project. It is a formative opportunity for our children to learn how to serve others as Christ did. Through these small acts of love, service becomes second nature, preparing them to lead with compassion and grace as they eventually transition back into the community.
