Against All Odds: Faith, Forgiveness, and a Father’s Miracle

Growing up in a home shadowed by alcoholism and violence, Festus Mbithi Peter and his 7 siblings lived in constant survival mode. Despite being an exceptionally bright student and the top graduate of his primary school, Festus’ dreams of a university education seemed impossible — there wasn’t even money for high school.

Everything changed when Festus crossed paths with someone from MCF and was introduced to Charles Mulli. Seeing his own childhood reflected in Festus’ story, Daddy Mulli welcomed him in. From that moment, Festus’ journey of healing, faith, and transformation began.

Through the power of prayer, forgiveness, and the love of a family he never had, Festus not only rebuilt his own life — he believed God could rebuild his father’s too. What happened next can only be described as a miracle. ????

Festus Mbithi Peter graduated with honors with an Accounting degree and returned to MCF in 2016 to give back — transforming the lives of orphans and street children, just as his life was once transformed.
