MCF is Family

In 2009 during a medical camp, an ailing young woman was brought to our MCF dispensary. She was so weak that she could not walk, feed nor talk. On medical examination, she was found to have TB and HIV/Aids. As MCF, we did all we could to help save her life by providing her with adequate provision of medical care and nutrition. Two weeks passed and when the lady was on her deathbed, she requested Mummy Esther to look after her 3 children who would soon be orphans once she passed on. To honor her dying wish, MCF took in her 3 children who were severely malnourished and traumatized; yet they had not known anyone who they would call a father.
Grace Nthenya who has the last born of the three children, was rescued when she was a year old as a total orphan and has grown to call MCF her family and home. She is a pleasant, beautiful, young girl who is focused to be a nurse in the future. She enjoys singing and dancing with her friends in grade three.
MCF is family to many of these children who do not have parents, and who have been labeled as bewitched and ostracized by society. Grace is the evidence of what the love of God can do if we only offer to share what God has blessed us with.
Many children under MCF care are total orphans and call MCF their family and home. Let us pray for these group of children that they will grow to be lovers of God and that God will fulfill his purpose in their lives.

Ephesians 1:11-12 KJV
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: that we should be to praise of his glory, who first trusted Christ.
