MCF Mission Choir to Canada – October 2025

Psalm 96:2-3 (NIV) – “Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.”

We are delighted to share a wonderful opportunity that the Lord has opened for the Mully Children’s Family Mission Choir. In the Biggest Family in the World, every beneficiary is given the chance to join one or two choirs, where music and dance become powerful tools of healing and restoration. These sessions bring joy and hope to children and young people who have faced heartbreaking pasts. Through singing and dancing, they discover new family bonds, a sense of self-worth, and the unconditional love of Christ.

By God’s grace, the MCF Mission Choir has been invited by the Glenn Gould Foundation to participate in The Promise of Music – The First World Congress on the Social Impact of Music, an esteemed international event scheduled for October 6–10, 2025, in Toronto, Canada. This historic gathering will be a major cultural occasion, expected to draw 30,000 to 50,000 attendees at iconic venues such as the Aga Khan Museum and Massey Hall. Remarkably, the MCF Choir will represent Africa as the sole African choir among global ensembles, lifting up the name of the Lord through their voices.

Following the congress, the choir will embark on a Canadian tour, performing concerts in Toronto (October 4, 5, and 10), Vancouver (October 12–15), and Winnipeg (October 15–19).

We humbly ask for your prayers as we prepare for this incredible mission. Pray that every choir member’s visa is approved without delay and that additional venues open in each city. Ask the Lord to provide all necessary resources to cover travel and ministry expenses, while raising awareness and support for the 7,800+ children and youth served in Kenya and Tanzania. Please also pray for divine health, unity of heart and mind, and safety as the team travels. Above all, may this tour powerfully proclaim the grace, hope, and love of Christ to the people of Canada.
