MCF to Mark 25 Years of Existence

The MCF was established in November 1989 by Dr. Charles Mulli and his wife Esther Mulli. Since establishment, MCF has directly changed the lives of over 10,000 needy and vulnerable children. Most of the beneficiaries – who were once hopeless children in the society – have since completed university and are serving in various capacities such as medical doctors, engineers, teachers, ministers of the gospel, media practitioners, lawyers, etc.

The MCF is a non-profit making, charitable organization that caters for children who are orphaned, abandoned, abused, desperate and neglected regardless of their religion, sex, colour or tribe. It has two major centres in Yatta and Ndalani in Machakos County. It has branches in Vipingo (Kilifi), Lodwar (Turkana) and Kipsongo (Kitale) where kids are fed and provided with education on day-care basis. The MCF’s goal is to rescue and rehabilitate street children and all other categories of orphaned and vulnerable children (OVCs) for behaviour formation and transformation and their eventual reintegration into the society.
