Mission Team Visits Vipingo, Kitale and Lodwar Centres
As part of the 25 years celebrations, the Mully Children’s Family (MCF) recently opened the MCF Vipingo secondary school. The colourful event was presided over by the MCF Founder and A CEO Dr. Charles Mulli who stressed the importance of nurturing the young ones through education.
Members of the Vipingo community shared equal sentiments in relation to what MCF has done unto the community. Testimonies of parents whose children have succeeded in life through MCF touched many who attended the ceremony.
Dr. Mulli expressed his joy on how the community appreciated his mission and vision of transforming the lives of vulnerable children. He also promised to facilitate free health care by establishing a dispensary in MCF Vipingo to treat the community members and MCF children. He urged the children to work hard in their studies and he will, in turn, ensure they are well taken care of and protected. The day ended with the MCF tradition of feeding the community.
The MCF mission team also visited Kitale centre where they shared exciting moments with MCF children in Kisongo, evangelised in the community and carried out a feeding exercise. And the outreach mission continued to Lodwar. Despite the rough terrain, the team could not be held back from doing what they know best: to touch the lives of poor and vulnerable children in the society. Over 500 children from the low-end Lokaparaparai village – along the Lodwar/Kalokol road – were ministered to and later on given food. Even the community members, among them the local area chief, were at hand to witness the work of MCF in Lodwar. The team was able to put a smile on the faces of the children.
