MULLY HOSPITAL IN MCF YATTA
Most of the population in the MCF Ndalani community lives below the poverty line. Broadly, there are inadequate healthcare facilities for comprehensive health care services in the area; Access to affordable and quality health care services far exceeds the majority of the population in the target region. The surrounding Sub County hospitals have a deficient doctor to patient ratio. Access to emergency surgical services is only available in referral hospitals 75 kilometers and 110 kilometers in Machakos and Nairobi, respectively, and often costly beyond the reach of the majority of the local populations. Children, women and the elderly are most affected.
In partnership with our friends and partners from the USA and Canada, MCF organizes an average of two medical camps per year in the MCF Ndalani dispensary. Thousands of patients are served and treated in our facilities during that time. However, all through the course of the year, the community keeps facing the aforementioned challenges.
Due to this predicament, Daddy Mully received a vision ten years ago of putting up a community hospital that will offer quality medical care at affordable or no cost for the most vulnerable in the surrounding communities.
We ask you to join us in prayer and be a part of this big vision of setting up a level IV hospital to serve the poor and marginalized populations.
Habakkuk 2:2 MSG
And then GOD answered: “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time.
Mark 9:23 KJV
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
