Mully Messenger | Fall 2024
Beneficiary Spotlight
As the youngest of five siblings living with a struggling single mother, food, shelter, and education were distant dreams for Juma Usna. Despite his family’s quest for a better life, they couldn’t escape the confines of Kenya’s slums. Relocating to his sister’s home led Juma to meet an MCF beneficiary, an encounter that forever changed his story. Mully Children’s Family welcomed him with open arms, enabling Juma to realize his full potential as a graduate, teacher, and poet.
Progress Updates
Supporting New Rescues
The new dining hall at Ndalani for our high school boys is nearing completion! This much-needed space will help shorten queuing times for meals and provide more room for devotions and other activities. With over 1,100 children currently on the Ndalani campus and more than 500 new rescues every year, our family continues to grow. This expansion is vital to accommodate the needs of each child, ensuring they have a place not only to eat but also to thrive, find community, and experience the love and support that transforms lives.
Holistic Healing
The Ndalani Sports Center is nearing completion and will soon offer MCF boys and girls a space to build healthy habits, discover new skills, and engage in various sports. As part of the Mully Model’s holistic approach to healing, the center will enhance their physical well-being, teamwork, and personal growth, enriching their lives in many meaningful ways.
Future Additions
Healthcare Access
We are excited to announce the future Mully Mission Hospital! With Charles’s vision and God’s provision, our MCF family in Kenya will have access to essential healthcare and emergency services. This is a tremendous step forward, and we can’t wait to share more developments as they unfold!
