Raising a generation through talent – MCF Athletics Club

1 Corinthians 9:24 (NIV) – “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”

We give thanks to God for the remarkable achievement of the MCF Athletics Club, drawn from Yatta and Ndalani campuses, during their participation in the national private schools’ event held in Nairobi. What began as a vision following the international symposium at MCF Ndalani in 2025 has grown into a meaningful platform for nurturing talent, discipline, and purpose in the lives of our children and youths.

In their very first competition, the team demonstrated exceptional performance, finishing third in the girls’, boys’, and overall team categories. The athletes brought home two trophies and an outstanding total of 59 medals — 25 gold, 26 silver, and 8 bronze. Behind each medal is a story of dedication, resilience, and the unfolding of God-given potential.

We are deeply grateful to God for the coaches, the 30 athletes who participated, and the entire team whose efforts have lifted the MCF flag high. This achievement is not only a victory in sport, but a testimony of lives being transformed, confidence restored, and hope renewed.

Kenya is known around the world for producing outstanding athletes who have carried the nation’s flag with excellence and honour. It is our prayer and hope that, in God’s perfect time, some of these young athletes will rise to represent Kenya on national and international platforms.

As we celebrate this milestone, we humbly invite you to stand with us in prayer:

We give thanks for the success, protection, and growth of the MCF Athletics team, and pray that each athlete will continue to grow in discipline, character, and confidence. We also ask for God’s provision of essential training equipment, proper kits, and opportunities for exposure, that the team may grow in excellence and compete at higher levels. Above all, we pray that through their talents, each child and young person will discover their God-given purpose, and that some will rise to represent Kenya, becoming a light and a testimony to many.

We commit this team into the hands of God, trusting that He who has begun this good work will be faithful to carry it on to completion.
