Serving Our Neighbors In Need
Since March 2020, when Covid-19 was reported in Kenya, many lives have been adversely affected. More than ever in the history of MCF, we have had more community members look up to us as their only source of hope. This was one of the reasons we began the Community Health Program in MCF. The program is mainly charged with some of the following responsibilities: visiting all the homesteads around MCF Ndalani; supporting the most vulnerable and sick members of the community who cannot afford medical care; taking the critically ill members to hospitals; feeding on a weekly-basis families who have lost their livelihoods; providing school dropouts in the villages with school uniforms and stationery as we facilitate their readmission to their schools to mention a few.
Our mission is to follow Jesus Christ in transforming children, youths and marginalized members of society to live a dignified livelihood. Jesus has given us his very life, and we have purposed to give that same life of Jesus Christ to those around us.
Please pray that the Lord will continue using us in changing and saving the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized members of the communities around us. Additionally, pray that God will provide all the resources we require for us to be effective in this ministry.
Psalm 23:1-3 (TPT)
David’s poetic praise to God the Lord is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. [2] He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss. [3] That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name.
