MCF Malindi Mini Clinic: A Place of Healing, Hope, and Transformation

Psalm 107:20–21 (NIV) – “He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.”

We thank God for the opening of the MCF Malindi mini clinic in July 2026, a wonderful milestone in MCF’s continued commitment to providing holistic care for every child entrusted to Mully Children’s Family. For many years, we have longed for an on-site healthcare facility where the young women, their babies, and our co-workers could receive prompt, compassionate, and quality first aid and basic medical care without needing to travel to external hospitals. By God’s grace, that vision has now become a reality.

Although the clinic has only recently begun operating from a single room, it is already making a meaningful difference in the lives of 66 girls, 31 babies, and 14 co-workers at MCF Malindi. Common illnesses can now be treated promptly on campus, reducing the need for frequent hospital visits, lowering transportation and medical costs, and allowing the girls to spend more time on their studies. Most importantly, they now have immediate access to caring medical professionals who understand their needs and are committed to their well-being.

One of the greatest joys surrounding the clinic’s opening is the remarkable testimony of the young women leading it. The clinical officer is a former MCF beneficiary who was rescued as a child and lovingly raised within Mully Children’s Family. Through God’s faithfulness and the opportunity to receive an education, she completed her medical training and has now returned as a volunteer to serve the ministry that transformed her life. She took the lead in establishing the mini clinic and now oversees its daily operations with dedication, professionalism, and Christ-like compassion.

Serving alongside her is another young woman who also grew up in MCF. After completing her training as a nurse aide, she returned as a volunteer to help care for the girls and babies at MCF Malindi. Together, these young women are a powerful testimony to God’s transforming work through Mully Children’s Family. Once rescued, nurtured, and given hope, they are now using their gifts and professional skills to bring healing, hope, and encouragement to the next generation.

Beyond providing medical treatment, the clinic will also serve as an important centre for preventive healthcare and health education. Through regular health talks and medical guidance, the girls will learn about personal hygiene, nutrition, menstrual health, disease prevention, mental health, and healthy living. Routine health assessments will help identify illnesses and nutritional concerns early, allowing for timely care and promoting healthier lives.

The MCF Malindi mini clinic is far more than a healthcare facility. It is a testimony to God’s faithfulness and the life-transforming ministry of Mully Children’s Family. Seeing former beneficiaries return as healthcare professionals to serve those now following in their footsteps is a beautiful picture of the MCF vision fulfilled.
