He Was Rescued as a Child. Now He’s Training Champions.
From rescued child to Kenya national karate coach, Paul Kimani’s journey shows the power of mentorship, discipline, and giving back.
Paul came to Mully Children’s Family (MCF) in 1997, where his talent for karate was discovered and nurtured. Today, he coaches at the national level in Kenya and is helping train more than 120 young karate students at MCF, teaching them that karate is about far more than fighting. It is about discipline, self-control, respect, hard work, and becoming a leader.
Among the athletes Paul has mentored is Doreen, who began karate at MCF and went on to represent Kenya, earning a silver medal at the East African Championships. Today, Doreen is helping train the younger boys and girls at MCF who now look up to her.
Paul invested in Doreen. Now Doreen invests in them.
Iron sharpens iron. ❤️
