Christmas Is Almost Upon US

What a joy to know that the world stands still to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our primary mandate here on earth is to have as many people as possible acknowledge Jesus as Lord of their lives. MCF does this by taking care of the children under it care, and extending the same love to the community around us.
During Christmas, we share the love of God by feeding the hungry, needy, forgotten and unappreciated in the society. Prison visit is one of our central focus during our Christmas celebration. We visit children and adults who have been incarcerated to share a meal with them, give them Christmas gifts and above all preach Jesus to them. We also share a hot Christmas meal with all the communities that surround our MCF branches.
Of interest to us are government security officers who most often than not, are hardly appreciated by the society in Kenya. During our Christmas visit to them, many testify that it is only MCF that pays them a visit to appreciate their service to the nation. May officers give their lives to Christ as we bless them with the word of God and share with them Christmas gifts.
Let us join in prayer as we look forward to reaching out to these groups during Christmas; that the food, gifts and the word we share with them will have a great impact to these thousands of lives.

Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called, wonderful, counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
