Embarking On A New Community Health Program

Over the years, MCF continues to open its dispensary doors to the community members. In collaboration with our friends and partners from around the world, MCF organizes free medical camps every year to offer quality medical services. Our latest survey has established that nothing or little is being done by other organizations towards preventive or primary health care. Embedded  in  our mission of seeing marginalized communities live a dignified livelihood, MCF has embarked on a community health program that will oversee early diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the communities, which will promote and improve  the health for all.

This Community Health Program will be serving approximately 180,000 children and adults, of whom the majority live below the poverty line, consequently they cannot afford to go to hospital. When MCF steps in to provide primary and preventive community health care, more people will not have to fall sick or die due  to preventable disease. There is lot of belief in witchcraft among the communities. This has further prevented many families from seeking medical attention in good time. They prefer going to witch doctors, and as a result, the sick die of diseases which would otherwise have been cured or prevented. The MCF community  workers will not only teach much-needed primary healthcare but also bring to light the power of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ who is our healer and protector.

We currently have 3 health workers on this program. Please pray specially for this program that the Lord will give us additional good co-workers who have the same heart as Daddy Mully of serving the community. Secondly, kindly be on your knees as this program will need a lot of financial resources for its successful implementation.

Acts 13:22 (KJV)

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to  whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a  man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
