From Tragedy to Triumph: Teresia Kabura’s Story

When post-election violence tore through Kenya, thousands lost their lives, and half a million people were displaced. Among them was a young girl named Teresia Kabura, whose home in Eldoret was burned to the ground, leaving her and her siblings as refugees in an Internally Displaced Camp.

Her world was shattered—but her story didn’t end there.

A Life Transformed

Everything changed the day Teresia met Charles Mulli.

Under his care at Mully Children’s Family (MCF), she found more than just shelter—she found hope, education, and a path forward.

📚 An opportunity to learn and dream again.
🏠 A safe place to call home, surrounded by love and faith.
⚖️ The chance to rewrite her story, from survivor to advocate.

Becoming MCF’s First Lawyer Advocate

Through perseverance and determination, Teresia became the first MCF child to earn the title of Lawyer Advocate. Today, she dedicates her life to defending those who, like her, once faced impossible odds.

Her story is a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of love to transform lives.
