Her mother, battling alcoholism, subjected her to abuse, while her siblings ran away one by one, leaving Stella to fend for herself. Alone and desperate, she fled to the streets of Kitale, where survival meant enduring hunger, danger, and uncertainty.
But then, everything changed.
