HUNGRY CHILDREN GREW FAINT AND FAINTED

Due to insufficient and unreliable rainfall that has led to prevailing hunger and dry conditions in some parts of Kenya, thousands of children lack food. School going children are the most affected; they do not always attend school due to lack of food. When they go to school, they have poor class participation as they sleep in class due to the emptiness of their stomachs. Additionally, due to drought, children go for days without drinking water.
A school 230 km from MCF Ndalani had several children grow faint and fainted while in school due to hunger. The situation is not getting any better as the country only expects to receive meaningful rain in November 2021.
MCF has continued to intensify its efforts of community schools feeding to safeguard the lives of school-going children. We thank you for your support that goes towards the Community Schools-Relief Food Feeding Program. Please intercede for the rains to come in good time and kindly keep praying for us as the financial demand is increasing for MCF to feed more schools in desperate conditions.
Matthew 25:35,40 EVS
For I was an hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me:.. [40] And the King will answer them, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”
