MCF Conducts Youth Camp

The Mully Children’s Family (MCF) held a week-long holiday camp that focused on enhancing the spiritual and social growth of the youths. The camp’s objectives were to create responsible student who can make rational decisions and face the future with courage and determination. The camp took place in both MCF Yatta and Ndalani centres, from 1st to 7th September 2014. It was facilitated by speakers from Egerton University. The MCF students were taught on how to acquire and maintain self esteem and self actualization, management of anger, effective communication, interpersonal relationships, how to make good career choices, among other issues. After the camp, many MCF students admitted that the sessions were very educative and informative. They are now looking ahead to other subsequent camps. The students also said that they gained a lot from the camp that will enable them make sound decisions in future.
