MCF finds our pantries low on food. Increased cost for basic commodities such as maize, beans, rice, sugar and even soap for bathing has placed an added burden on MCF finances. I question how MCF will meet our ongoing needs for our 6 locations, and how we will feed the growing number of children coming to the streets to escape hunger and help feed the families facing starvation and hunger in the neighboring villages and slums.
In 2007-2008, when Kenya experienced the worst political crisis in our history, MCF went by faith to the IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) camps to provide food, counseling, education and hot meals to more than 37,000 families. Through your generous giving, MCF remained serving at the IDP camps for a period of 11 months. You made a difference in the lives of thousands!
We are asking for your support. Truly it is a matter of Saving Lives…
Please pray with us!
And please give generously to help with our growing food crisis! Please visit www.mcfus.org/hunger
Help MCF feed:
3,580 children within our 6 MCF locations,
4,000+ street children that MCF will be reaching out to 20,000+ families within or neighboring communities
I remain confident that God will provide. Wishing you God’s blessings!
