MCF Lodwar’s Vision of Empowerment and Education

Isaiah 41:10 [NIV]: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Imagine a world where every young person has the chance to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. That’s the vision driving us at MCF Lodwar, our campus in northwest Kenya’s semi-desert region.

With a sprawling 400-acre campus, we’re nurturing over 850 beneficiaries from early childhood through grade 12. Our commitment extends beyond education; we provide essential services like free meals, medical aid, and clean water sourced from our boreholes.

But our impact doesn’t stop at our gates. We’re supporting the broader community by providing relief aid and supplying water to nearby schools and health facilities.

However, one significant challenge our students face is limited access to secondary and post-secondary education. To tackle this, we’re planning to establish a vocational college at MCF Lodwar. This institution will offer a range of programs, equipping our youth with skills like carpentry, masonry, computer skills, and business management, among others. We believe this vocational college will transform lives, offering our students opportunities for sustainable livelihoods and contributing to the local economy.

We invite you to join us in prayer as we seek divine guidance and provision to make this vision a reality, empowering countless youth in our community.
