Something Out of The Normal…

The last three months have been something out of the norm. Never did I imagine that it would be impossible to leave Ndalani to visit our other branches across the country with freedom and ease until the COVID-19 pandemic came along. It is amazing how the world can change with the blink of an eye. In spite of everything and through it all, God has remained faithful. He has used His own people to bless us through giving towards our ongoing COVID-19 pandemic programs.

In spite of the continued economic hardships and turmoil in Kenya and other economies of the world, we have been able to provide daily three nutritious meals to each child and essential staff. We have been able to purchase essential medicines to facilitate the smooth running of our clinics and ensure that all children with pre- existing conditions such as malnutrition, HIV/Aids, Diabetes, among others, are well cared for and are safe.

Mama Esther has been working day and night with our young graduates from Yatta to sew masks for all the children and staff. She has also ensured we have masks that we can now distribute to the community.

Through your giving, we continue to put up temporary housing to accommodate all essential staff within our Ndalani site. Additionally a temporary medical isolation unit is nearing use, which will see us isolate and provide care to any COVID-19 positive patient.
