Keeping Hope Alive
Nicholas came to MCF as a little boy who had never joined school. He and his three siblings had watched their parents waste away under the cruel hand of HIV/ Aids. The children’s hopes and dreams seemed to have faded away with the death of both their parents. Nicholas’s candle grew even dimmer when he was diagnosed with HIV/ Aids.
Despite hardships and health challenges this young man fought from kindergarten through grade 12 and even attended a college where he is now working toward a diploma in Motor-vehicle and heavy Machinery maintenance.
Recently, Nicholas has had a lot of health challenges and he is scheduled for an operation on his throat due to a growth that has caused him to lose his voice.
Please pray for a quick recovery for him and that he, like many other children in MCF, who are living positively, will keep their hope alive in Christ.
Romans 5:5 (AMP)
Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
